Introduction to Kinetic-ID
Kinetic-ID provide mobile workstation HMIs for use in GMP and non-GMP areas to pharmaceutical organizations globally. A key use case for mobile workstations within the Life Science sector is to view MES applications. Kinetic-ID are software agnostic, and their hardware can be used with any mainstream MES platform.
What is a Kinetic-ID Mobile Workstation?
Kinetic-ID’s mobile workstation is used to view your MES software in real-time within a GMP or non-GMP area. The solution can power a micro-PC, thin client, label printer, barcode scanner, tablet, laptop, filter integrity testing unit or other corporate IT hardware. Kinetic-ID have solutions available for cleanrooms Grade A-D and units are fully customizable.
Key Features of Kinetic-ID Mobile Workstations:
1) Batteries are hot-swappable, enabling ease of maintenance.
2) You can use your own corporate standard IT such as micro-PC or thin client. This means updating your PC is relatively straightforward in comparison to having an in-built all in one PC.
3) Easily cleaned – all units can be wiped down and cleaned with standard GMP and non-GMP cleaning agents. Units can be made from 304L or 316L stainless steel for GMP areas. For non-GMP areas units are made from HIPS plastic.
4) Ergonomics, units are electronically height-adjustable and can be adjusted to the end user’s height.
