When I was in junior high I was hacking into the schools computer network and the librarian walked up behind me. I pushed the power button on the PC before she could determine exactly what I was doing in the system but the screen was blue rather than black so they knew I was in an unauthorized area. The school ultimately couldn't figure out how or what I was doing and made me sit on a typewriter for the remainder of the year next to the principals secretary and gave me a D- for a grade.
When High School rolled around I transferred to a new school and was not allowed on the computers there either. To graduate I had to get my computer credits via an internship from a local ISP which is ultimately what kick started my successful career.
